September 1, 2021 Authors use the PCIC website and submit an abstract to PCIC prior to 2021 PCIC Conference. 
September 3-10, 2021 Abstracts are reviewed at the “General Program” meeting. Authors are encouraged to speak on behalf of their abstracts. General Program leadership selects abstracts for the 2022 PCIC Conference General Program.
September 14, 2021 Abstracts allocated the General Program are reserved. The eight PCIC Technical Subcommittees select abstracts from the balance of abstracts. Authors are encouraged to speak on behalf of their abstracts at the Technical Subcommittee meetings. Abstracts are selected by the subcommittees based on members’ show of interest at their meetings and to make a viable program for the 2022 PCIC Conference.
October 4, 2021 Lead authors for selected abstracts have been invited by this date to write papers for the 2022 PCIC Conference. Authors must accept or decline this invitation. There is an excess of papers selected so not all papers completed will be presented at the 2022 PCIC Conference.
October 11, 2021 Authors of abstracts NOT accepted for the 2022 PCIC Conference have been notified by this date.
February 1, 2022 Authors MUST submit by this date their completed paper that is properly formatted with photographs, charts and graphs to the appropriate General Program or Technical Subcommittee representative to be immediately forwarded for peer review.
March 1, 2022 Reviews and comments from peer reviews are due to lead authors with copies to appropriate General Program or Technical Subcommittee representative.
April 7, 2022 Authors MUST submit by this date their final electronic version of their paper to the appropriate General Program or Technical Subcommittee representative for a final check for formatting and commercialism prior to publication. Comments from paper reviewers must be acknowledged and included where warranted. Preliminary paper table of contents set for PCIC Conference Record by PCIC Leadership.Papers Review Subcommittee Chair sends ScholarOne Manuscripts invitation to lead author of all papers approved by the General Program and Technical Subcommittee representatives.
April 25, 2022 Authors MUST submit by this date their paper to ScholarOne Manuscripts. The submittal includes completion of copyright form in ScholarOne Manuscripts.
May 2, 2022 Technical Subcommittee representatives select completed papers for the 2022 PCIC Conference. Each subcommittee selects six papers for presentation. Extra papers (one or two per subcommittee) that are completed and fully compliant, are given carry-over status to be presented at the 2023 PCIC Conference. PCIC Leadership completes the table of contents for the PCIC Conference Record.
May 31, 2022 PCIC Publications Chair sends final papers to the printer for creation of the PCIC Conference Record.
August 1, 2022 Authors MUST submit but this date a PowerPoint presentation for their paper to the appropriate General Program or Technical Subcommittee representative for review and approval.
September 26-29, 2022 Presenting author(s) MUST be registered and attend the 2022 PCIC Technical Conference. Presenting author(s) are required to attend the Authors’ Breakfast on the day of their presentation.
